The Caps United versus Chicken Inn encounter slated for Luveve Stadium this Sunday has been postponed to allow for Makepekepe to prepare for their midweek CAF Champions League encounter against USM Alger.

There had been growing concern about the packed fixture schedule for Caps United who are involved on the African safari while also having to play midweek encounters.

The Green Machine who play USM Alger in the CAF Champions League on Thursday lost to ZPC Kariba were scheduled to play Chicken Inn this Sunday before locking horns against Algeria’s USM Alger this coming Wednesday in the CAF Champions League.

Given a packed schedule for Makepekepe, the Castle Lager PSL today announced the postponement of Caps United’s trip to Luveve, allowing the Green Machine enough time to recover and prepare for their crucial home CAF Champions League encounter on Wednesday.

Other encounters on Sunday see Ngezi Platinum hosting log leaders ZPC Kariba at the Baobab Stadium while Dynamos will play Shabanie Mine at the National Sports Stadium.

Triangle will host How Mine at Gibbo Stadium with Black Rhinos looking to maintain their impressive run when they play Hwange.

On Saturday, Chapungu play Harare City with Tsholotsho facing off with Bulawayo City.

Bantu Rovers face off with Highlanders as FC Platinum host Yadah at Mandava Stadium.
