Harare is calm today following Wednesday’s violence by the opposition MDC Alliance supporters which left 3 people dead.

A brief survey in Harare’s central business district (CBD) today showed that a few shops and banks were open, while others were still to decide whether to open or not.

Others were counting their losses and picking up the pieces after Wednesday’s violence.

A few vendors were also seen trying to spread their wares on their usual vending sites.

At one fast food outlet which was damaged and looted yesterday, workers were busy at work with patrons inside.

They however could not grant this news team an interview for fear of the situation.

Meanwhile, the situation in other parts of the country remains calm and peaceful as people continue to go about their business.
