The 17-member Bulawayo Think Tank Board appointed last week held their maiden meeting on Wednesday where they toured Bulawayo’s industrial area to have an appreciation of the state of affairs.
The tour of industries left the Khonzani Ncube-led board with an appreciation of areas needing urgent attention within the set 100-day target.
Board vice chair Mr Nyararai Sibanda and fellow board member Mr Freejoy Mavolwane said they are ready to steer the ship of development in the City of Kings in line with government’s rebuilding exercise.
The Minister of State for Bulawayo Senator Angeline Masuku says she is confident that the team she has assembled is up for the ambitious task ahead.
The Bulawayo Think Tank Board will intermediate between investors and government as it is tasked to recommend joint ventures and give guidelines on any business growth in the City of Kings.
