Newly promoted southern region Division One side, Bulawayo Chiefs, has started preparations to play in the top flight PSL with a target of ensuring they do not get relegated come the end of the season.
After a flawless campaign in the lower tier league and being eventually crowned champions which comes with promotion to the PSL, Bulawayo Chiefs have got their preparations on course.
The side that showed a lot of potential will have to call upon all its talent if they are to be able to swim with the big fish.
Club head coach Thulani Sibanda expressed the club’s desire to meet the competitive requirements of the new level.
Sibanda further stated that he was looking at adding experienced players to his squad but could not manage to compete with the big boys financially.
Bulawayo Chiefs like most developing sides run the risk of losing its best talent to bigger clubs, with indications that the club’s top striker Adrian Banana who had been loaned from Chicken Inn was seemingly headed back to the Gamecocks together with three other unnamed players.
