zrp 25-10-112.jpgZRP High School has engaged the business community in a project which will see the school and the corporate world working together to foster a sense of nation building and enhancing leadership skills in its pupils through transfer of knowledge and skills exchange between the two parties.

Speaking on the sidelines of the 2012 ZRP Prefects Induction which also doubled as the launch of the partnership programme, Head of the school, Mr. Johannes Chingonzoh, said the school strives to produce disciplined, quality and ethical leaders who have the country at heart.

He said the exchange arrangement is aimed at inculcating such virtues in the pupils in preparation of their integration into the business world after completion of their studies.

“This is the first of a series. We want to work with the corporate world as we want our pupils to emulate the president Cde Mugabe so as to curb brain drain. The partnership will see our students also getting internship from the companies engaged,” he said.

Guest of Honour at the induction, local businessman Mr. Max Tsumah of ENTERPRO Private Limited who gave the pupils tips of how to run businesses and also the importance of ethical leadership said he is impressed by the initiative add that he is glad to work with the

school.

He said: “We commend the move by the school as they try to harness from their children future leaders…its important to give mention to the president who has made education a possibility for many.”

The inaugural leadership also saw Mr. Tsuma donating 20 computers and adopting the school’s library which is still under construction.
