Business confidence in the country has recorded a massive improvement in the fourth quarter of 2017, reflecting optimism by the business community to various pronouncements and policy reforms under the new administration.

According to latest data released by the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries (CZI) today, the composite business confidence index recovered from the third quarter level of -29. 6 to 5.8 in the period under review, indicating the positivity that is prevailing within the business market.

The purchasers managers index has also improved and now stands above 50, signaling the best results ever recorded by the industrial body under this survey.
