Bulawayo is set to have its biggest shopping mall in Cowdray suburb by June next year in a move that is set to see the creation of more than 1 500 jobs in the City of Kings.
Business people operating in the country continue to show confidence in the country’s industry operating environment with a local based business man set to construct a million dollar complex in a high density suburb of Bulawayo which is going to be the biggest in the City of Kings.
Addressing journalists in Bulawayo this Friday (today), the proprietor Mr Rajesh Modi says he chose to invest in Cowdray Park as a way to take business to where people are in a bid to decongest the city.
A business partner to the project Mr Elifasi Mashaba says people of Cowdray Park have started to enjoy the fruits of the envisaged project as roads connecting to the complex site have since been constructed in the area.
The ground-breaking of the million dollar project is set for this Sunday, April 9 with Vice President Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa expected to officiate at the programme which shall witness the disadvantaged members of the community receiving food hampers worth US$15 000.
