Legislators and the community of Buhera district have applauded the First Lady Dr Amai Grace Mugabe for her generous donation which they say will go a long way in meeting food and agricultural needs in the drought ridden district.
The visit by the Zanu PF Secretary of the Women’s League and the First Lady Dr Mugabe to the Buhera district left the community much more appreciative.
It was more than just a visit as the First Lady donated a consignment of maize, cooking oil, flour, rice, soap and fertilisers to assist the community in meeting their food requirements.
Interviewed legislators applauded the First Lady for being a true mother figure who understands the plight of the children.
The community also added their voice and expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the goodies donated.
After making history at Murambinda Secondary School by attaining nine As and failing to progress to the Advanced level studies, the future for Prudence Zvikomborero Mavura took a total transformation after the First Lady assumed the burden of her education needs.
The First Lady Dr Amai Mugabe later commissioned a dormitory block at Hande Secondary School where she implored the girl child to take education seriously as a tool for empowerment.
Dr Mugabe addressed thousands of people at St John’s Primary School and implored the party leadership to shun factionalism and stop it forth with.
