Harare lawyer and labour expert, Caleb Mucheche’s efforts in contributing literature on Zimbabwe’s law is gaining international recognition with some of his books now in use in more than 100 universities across the world.
Advocate Mucheche’s humble dream of contributing to the improvement of the legal system in Zimbabwe through law literature has now gone beyond his initial imagination.
He is a fairly young legal practitioner with a law practice spanning 12 years and is also the founder of Zimlaw Trust which seeks to promote an appreciation of Zimbabwe’s laws.
Advocate Mucheche has since 2012 written 22 books on various law subjects some of which include; Labour Rights Law under the Constitution of Zimbabwe, Commercial Law in Zimbabwe, Insolvency Law in Zimbabwe Business and Company Law in Zimbabwe.
Advocate Mucheche said his works have gained recognition in countries such as the USA, where they are in use at the University of Michigan, University of California, Portland University and Washington State University.
