A Harare based author, Godfrey Ruwonde has launched his first book, which took him over 20 years to write.
Titled: ‘Ndodya Cheziya,’ the book interrogates issues to do with land and its importance.
Ruwonde started writing the book as far back as 1985 and finally published it this year.
The Mutare born and 60 year-old Ruwonde writes about a child that lost his parents and later realised that the parents all along have been surviving through the land.
“Zimbabweans should know the importance of land, that wealth comes through the soil,” he said.
The book also encourages Zimbabweans to work hard to achieve their desired goals.
