job_search.jpgConcern has been raised over the sprouting of bogus employment agencies which are being accused of milking job seekers of their hard earned cash after promising them non-existent jobs.

People in Harare have called on government to close bogus employment agencies in the capital which they say are swindling job seekers on daily basis.

Some people interviewed by ZBC News confessed that they have lost money in anticipation of getting jobs that never came to fruition.

However, in an interview with ZBC News, the Deputy Director of National Employment Service, Mr. Willis Munorwei professed ignorance over the development but urged job seekers to be careful.

Since the adoption of the multicurrency regime in 2009, the number of people seeking employment in the country has risen.

This has also seen an increase in the number of white collar crimes.
