The Bob 88 Super Cup is on this weekend with four teams battling it out in the semi-finals which will be played in Harare and Mutare.
This yearâ€™s edition of the Bob 88 Super Cup has become bigger with all the four teams participating in the continental campaigns this year namely Dynamos, Hwange, Motor Action and FC Platinum taking part.
Motor Action and FC Platinum will set the ball rolling on Saturday when they clash at Sakubva Stadium, while holders of the cup and 2011 League Champions Dynamos will face Hwange at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
Bob 88 Super Cup Organiser, Stan Kasukuwere said this yearâ€™s tournament is likely to bring more excitement as it is now bigger and will be played in three different venues across the country.
The two winners in this weekendâ€™s matches will clash at Rufaro Stadium in the final slated for the 26th of February.
The two losers in the semi-finals will battle out for the third and fourth play offs as curtain raisers at the same venue.
The Bob 88 Super Cup which is in its second edition is part of President Robert Mugabeâ€™s birthday celebrations.
Dynamos won the trophy last year and pocketed $55 000, while CAPS United, who lost in the final, got $45 000.
