Black Rhinos returned to action with a comprehensive 5-nil victory over ZRP Harare in Women’s Super League action at 2 Brigades this afternoon.
The Women’s Super League resumed today with Black Rhinos Queens returning to action following the availability of players that were on national duty with the Mighty Warriors in Mozambique.
Felistus Muzongondi scored a hatrick with Rutendo Makore and Mavis Chirandu also on target for the hosts who ran away 5-nil victors to solidify their place at the top of the league standings.
After going to the breather leading 2-nil, Black Rhinos upped the tempo in the second half with Rutendo Makore neatly finishing as Felistus Muzongondi wrapped off her hatrick from the spot.
Despite missing several chances, Black Rhinos gaffer Kudakwashe Matuvi was satisfied with the 3 points gained while his counterpart bemoaned the absence of some key players that were kept out by injury.
Victory handed Black Rhinos Queens a 9-point advantage after moving to 40 points with 3 games in hand.
