Black Rhinos Queens were held to a goalless draw by Bindura based Auckland Queens in an entertaining northern region match at One Commando in the capital.

Black Rhinos boasting of several Mighty Warriors players including Kudakwashe Basopo, Talent Mandaza, Rutendo Machingura, Rutendo Makore, and Llynette Chitokuto wasted several scoring opportunities in the first half with striker Makore back from a trial stint in Egypt tightly marked.

The second also belonged to the home side who were virtually camped in the opposition half but could not find the net as Auckland Queens defence remained resolute and well marshaled by Wendy Zulu.

Black Rhinos Queens were frustrated throughout the half and resorted to shooting from range without success.

Coach Brian Derera conceded his side had been frustrated and could not score despite the numerous chances that went begging.

Auckland Queens were happy with a point away from home against a highly fancied Rhinos side.
