Surprise log leaders Black Rhinos maintained their position at the summit of the Premier Soccer League table despite being held to a goalless draw by Shabanie Mine at Maglas stadium this Sunday.

The draw against Shabanie took their points tally to 27.

Harare City dismissed Triangle 2-nil at the National Sports Stadium to move up to 13th position with 14 points.

At Barbourfields stadium, Highlanders thumped third from bottom Hwange 3-nil.

Goals from Brian Banda, King Nadolo and Prince Dube ensured Bosso got the maximum points.

Relegation threatened Bantu Rovers rose to spoil the party for second placed Ngezi Platinum when they held them to a 2-all draw on their home turf Baobab stadium in Mhondoro Ngezi.

New boys Yadah FC continued to struggle this time losing by a narrow 2-1 at the hands Bulawayo City at Luveve stadium.

On Saturday, Tsholotsho lost 1-nil to third placed Chicken Inn at Dulivadzimu stadium in Beitbridge while ZPC Kariba and FC Platinum drew nil-all in Kariba.

Meanwhile, the match pitting Chapungu and Dynamos was abandoned in the 55th minute after the goal post collapsed at Ascot stadium in Gweru.

Dynamos were leading by a convincing 4-nil when the match was abandoned.

Chapungu goalkeeper Talbert Mutombeni rammed into the goal post in an effort to save an Emmanuel Mandiranga’s overhead lob leading to its fall.

Welding of the goal post was unsuccessful until the referee had to call off the match as it was getting dark.

According to the rules if a match is abandoned under such circumstances, it will be replayed within 48 hours, and will start on the exact time it was abandoned, with the same players and the score-line maintained.
