Mashonaland Central based Bindura urban Chimurenga Choir has released a new album titled ‘Foni YaGushungo’ in preparation for the Independence Day celebrations.

As Zimbabwe marks 37 years of independence on the 18th of this month, the Bindura urban Chimurenga Choir’s second project is set to bring back memories of those who perished during the liberation struggle, according to group member Eunice Hove.

Another group member Mattheus Yakombe said as a group they are also geared to entertain people during the Independence Day celebrations to be held in Bindura.

The six track album carries tracks such as ‘Tasangana Veropa’, ‘Dzakarara Member’, ‘Musaputse Musangano’, ‘Musarase Gwara’, ‘VaMugabe’ and the title track ‘Foni YaGushungo’.
