Warriors forward Khama Billiat has secured a move to South African giants Kaizer Chiefs ending months of speculation about the player’s future.

The much awaited move away from Mamelodi Sundowns has finally come into fruition for the Zimbabwean star who will be leaving Chloorkop for Naturena.

Kaizer Chiefs announced the big signing of Billiat‚ along with Madagascar international midfielder Andriamirado ‘Dux’ Hasina Andrianarimanana and defender Letlhogonolo Mirwa from ABC Motsepe league team Buya Msuthu FC‚ on their twitter page.

Responding to the news, former Warriors and Kaizer Chiefs defender Thomas Sweswe applauded the move which will provide a new challenge to Billiat.

The signing of Billiat will go down as one of the biggest off-season signings in the ABSA premiership following months of speculation having surrounded Billiat’s future.

Billiat’s signing comes only days before the expiry of his contract with Mamelodi Sundowns which was set to end on 30 June.
