A delegation of 50 Zimbabwean officials drawn mainly from the Ministry of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation and other government departments is in the Chinese city of Fuzhou for a bilateral seminar on youth employment and development.
The head of the delegation Mr Mugove Mubhika says the seminar is part of China-Zimbabwe cooperation in areas of human capacity development and will equip participants with knowledge from the development model pursued by China which is the second largest economy in the world.
He further states that the bilateral seminar on youth employment and development will empower officials to become development agents to drive the government’s vision of creating a middle income economy by 2030.
Some of the issues to be explored include China’s transformation model, youth entrepreneurship and women empowerment.
