zrp.jpgPolice have urged the public to be on the look-out for some conmen who are masquerading as desperate Mozambicans seeking translation services promising to pay huge amounts of cash before duping unsuspecting people of their money and valuables.

Some conmen dupe job seekers to believe that they can facilitate employment for them.

Police spokesperson, Superintendent Andrew Phiri gave a reminder to the country’s citizens that they cannot expect to get quick cash from strangers, adding that they should report such criminals.

ZBC is reliably informed that such conmen are operating in the capital’s CBD, Avenues area, Sentosa, Mabelreign among other areas.

It has also been established that most of the people who fall prey to such fraudsters do not report them to the police leaving the culprits to go scot free.
