beenie man 15.10.10.jpgRenowned Reggae dancehall artist Beenieman has jetted into the country for the Lion Lager Summer Beer Festival to be held at Old Hararians Sports Club tomorrow.

The dancehall icon was met at the Harare International Airport by scores of fans amid pomp and funfair.

The king of the Dancehall as he is known by his fans told media that he is happy to be in the country as it has always been his dream to be in Zimbabwe, promising them nothing but the best.

Beenieman whose real name is Anthony Moses Davies later attended a press conference at the Rainbow Towers where he revealed his love for the country, saying no negativity would stop him from visiting Zimbabwe.

Born on the 22nd of August 1973, Beenieman ventured into music at the age of 5 and released his debut single“Too Fancy” in 1981 at the age of 8.


 The Grammy Awards winner is currently riding high with his single ” I’m drinking rum” which is currently number 1in Jamaica.


 Beenie has brought a 13-member band and two artists C.G and Kantana for the show and will be in the country for 3 days.
