Vice President Kembo Mohadi says it is the duty of senior members to set good examples and inculcate the right ideology and values of the party into the youths.
Delivering the vote of thanks at the Zanu PF Youth League Assembly in Harare today, Cde Mohadi, who is the Second Secretary of the party, urged members of the Youth League to consult the elders who in turn are expected to instill proper values.
Secretary for Youth Affairs, Cde Pupurayi Togarepi said the party wing is in full support of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s leadership style and are impressed by how he interacts with his deputies.
He commended the President for allowing freedom of speech but said it should be exercised with responsibility.
The National Commissar for the Youth League, Cde Godfrey Tsenengamu said there is a lot of corridor talk going on but the Youth League will remain firmly behind the party’s elected leader.
The 3-day event drew participants from all the country’s provinces, who are now expected to take the messages they got to their respective constituencies.
