The Zimbabwe Republic Police says it is disheartening to see police officers being involved in corrupt activities and indiscipline.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police officers have been challenged to maintain discipline and shun corruption when doing their duties.
Addressing senior police officers at Morris Depot in Harare Commissioner General of Police Godwin Matanga said there are great concerns over levels of indiscipline in most of the junior members of the organisation.
“This has prompted some, both within and without the organisation to query the quality of training being rendered in police depots,” said Commissioner General Matanga.
The Commissioner General has been moving around the country’s ten provinces in his familiarisation tour.
