The robbery resulted in the death of a Mazvikadeyi farmer, Keith Allan Nicolson and one of the suspects Jimmy Machaka following a shoot-out.
Police Chief Spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Wayne Bvudzijena, said one suspect, Nyasha Mhindurwa was arrested yesterday morning in Centenary, while Johane Inero was arrested in Mutorashanga and Cry Nyamangara was arrested in Banket.
The vehicle used by the gang has also been recovered in Centenary.
Senior Assistant Commissioner Bvudzijena said the suspects together with two others who are still on the run pounced on a Mazvikadeyi family where they abducted one person and others were left tied in the house.
It is further understood that friends of the abducted person pursued the robbers before engaging in a shot out with the suspects and it was during this gunshot that resulted in the death of Mr Nicholson.
Meanwhile, Senior Assistant Commissioner Bvudzijena has dismissed speculation that the case was political saying investigations have shown that the matter is criminal.
In another related case, two suspected armed robbers, Chengetanai Muchenje and Edward Chasara were arrested in Harare yesterday morning.
The two are alleged to have connived with their wives and robbed travellers in Masvingo.
Senior Assistant Commissioner Bvudzijena said the two in connivance with their wives would offer transport to unsuspecting travellers whom they would rob.
The wives were earlier arrested in Masvingo.
