kepekepe fansog.jpgCaps United head coach, Moses Chunga, has ruled out allegations of match fixing following his side’s heavy defeat at the hands of title contenders Motor Action at the National Sports Stadium yesterday.

“Bambo” as Chunga is affectionately known, rubbished claims by Dynamos faithfuls that the Green Machine had deliberately conceded defeat to the Mighty Bulls who are now on the brink of clinching a maiden Premiership crown.

Speaking after his side’s 4-2 defeat at the hands of title aspirants Motor Action yesterday, Chunga who appeared disappointed by his team’s performance ruled out unfair play on the part of his team.

“Everyone is entitled to their opinion but it’s a game of football, so anything can happen. The four first goals they scored were genuine,“said Chunga.

One of the tightest races ever to be witnessed in the domestic Premiership took an interesting twist on Wednesday when Dembare’s title hopes were severely battered after Motor Action hammered the Green Machine , in an encounter the Bulls led 3 nil in the first 20 minutes.

The result stimulated anger among DeMbare fans who alleged an unholy alliance between Makepekepe and the Bulls. Other conspiracy theories allege that Chunga deliberately lost in order for him to take over from current Dynamos gaffer Elvis Chuchu Chiweshe, but without any hard evidence such notions can only remain what they are theories.

The Mighty Bulls have a better goal difference of plus 32 compared to Dynamos who are on plus 29.

While the limelight was on the title race, Douglas Warriors waved goodbye to topflight football after their 4 nil defeat to Dynamos. It joined FC Victoria and Bantu Rovers who have already been relegated to the 1st Division.
