ZBC’s Power FM yesterday provided and installed band extenders in vehicles in Highfield, Harare as the station began facilitating access for motorists to enjoy listening to Power FM and its sister radio stations; SFM , Radio Zimbabwe and National FM in their vehicles. Fans who graced Power FM’s live show at Joy Center, in Highfield, which ran from 3pm to 6pm had band extenders installed in their cars for free. Harare City Women and UZ Men are through to finals of the Zone VI Volleyball Club championships after beating South African sides Kamplits and Uni Jozi respectively in semi-finals played in Bulawayo this afternoon. Man defrauds law firm of US$50k

A top Bulawayo attorney working for Web, Low and Barry Partners has allegedly swindled his employers of US$50 000 in trust funds. Leslie Bhekimpilo Sibanda (35) appeared before Moses Mabeza facing three counts of fraud allegedly committed while working at the law firm. On the first count, the accused allegedly withdrew money from the law firm between 2014 and 2016 as indicated by evidence brought to court. Sibanda further made a requisition of vouchers of cash and directed the money to his account. On the last count, Sibanda allegedly approached Willsgroove Farm Enterprises and offered to be their performance guarantee for tender and when the company sent money to the law firm, he transferred it to his personal account.
