It’s all systems go for the season’s opening athletics tournament which roars into life tomorrow at the National Sports Stadium in Harare.

The Harare Athletics Board (HAB) is working round the clock to stage a successful athletics competition which will see provincial teams across the country rubbing shoulders in the track and field events competition.

Speaking during the board’s final meeting ahead of the games, HAB Vice Chairman, Phineas Zinhiva said the province is now ready to host the event.

The track and field events competition, which marks the beginning of the athletics season, will sees participants competing in different age groups of the cadets, juniors and under 20 categories.
