musicians.jpgAs the country gears up for the 2010 Unity Day celebrations to be held in Mutare, some of the county’s musicians who will take part in the gala say Zimbabweans from all walks of life must come together in a music Bira on the 18th of this month to commemorate the day through song and dance.

 

With only a few days left before the country commemorates Unity Day, some of the country’s musicians expected to perform at the gala say they will give their best performances at the gala as it is an important day on the nation’s calendar.

 

The 2010 Unity Gala which is being held under the theme, “Unity for Indigenisation and Empowerment”, will see some of the country’s talented musicians who include Tongai Moyo, Mahendere Brothers, Sandra Ndebele, Fungisai Mashavave, Jeyz Marabini, Agatha Murudzwa, Winky D and Mafriq sharing the stage.

 

This year marks the 23 anniversary of the Unity Accord signed by Zanu-PF and PF Zapu on 22 December 1987 to form a united ZANU-PF.
