paintingt.jpgVisual Art School in Mbare, formerly BAT School of Art, has joined hands with Penthouse Studio of the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in coming up with arts programmes for students ahead of the Meeting Point Exhibition to be held this month.

The Gallery’s Penthouse Studio library is now fully operational, with students utilising the resources available to get knowledge and research on various visual artistic genres.

The re-opening of the Visual Art School in conjunction with the Gallery Penthouse gives young and renowned artists time to reflect upon arts’ great contribution to national development.

The National Gallery of Zimbabwe and various art galleries in Bulawayo and Mutare have held art programmes and ancillary activities that lend weight to the importance of a national consideration as to where Zimbabwean art is heading today.
