A visual art group in Wedza, Numwa Mother Support is using recycled garbage to create artworks that are proving popular with the locals.
The art group is showing that society can get rid of its garbage by putting it to good use.
Woven with colourful wool, the disposed garbage is turned into beautiful designs of handbags, food bags and hats.
The group members explained the processes involved in crafting these creative and eye catching works which were recently exhibited during a function at Numwa Secondary School in Wedza.
Formed in 2008, Numwa Mother Support Group was formed to assist needy children in Wedza district.
