gunss.jpgHarare Regional Magistrate, Mr. Never Katiyo has deferred sentence for convicted Nyanga armed robbers, Tafadzwa Nindi and Bright Madanha to the 3rd of January 2011.

The 2 were jointly charged with Lovemore Madiziyawo, who was this week acquitted of the charges.

Mr. Katiyo postponed sentencing the 2 convicts after he ordered the defence council for Nindi to ascertain the injuries he sustained after he was shot by the police on the day of his arrest.

It is the State’s case that Nindi, Madanha and the late John Teramayi robbed ZB Bank Juliasdale Branch in Nyanga in March this year and looted more than US$114 000, R14 000 and 6 cell phones.

The gang was later arrested in Harare at a local sports bar and part of the cash was recovered.
