Alliance for the People’s Agenda (APA) presidential candidate Dr Nkosana Moyo says if elected into office his government will address the challenges faced in urban centres.
Dr Moyo was in Gwanda this Friday (yesterday) where he interacted and distributed pamphlets to vendors and passersby in the central business district.
The APA presidential candidate told the ZBC News that the party believes in hearing the concerns of the people first hand which his government will address once elected into power.
He blasted Gwanda Council’s plans to move illegal vendors from undesignated areas to new sites saying the informal traders should be allowed to operate where there is business.
Dr Moyo who was hardly recognised by most residents in the town expressed confidence of winning the coming elections.
The party also pledged to redress the issue of the land reform programme which it says was not properly implemented.
The APA leader began his campaign in Esigodini before visiting Beitbridge and Gwanda.
