The show kicked off on a high note with 27 participants drawn from the country’s tertiary institutions battling for honours.

Satin, silk, African attire, diamonds and pearls, and trendy fashion were on show with the relatively sizeable crowd overwhelmed by the calibre of Zimbabwean beauty queens who took turns to outclass each other on the ramp.

To put icing on the cake, music maestro, Oliver Tuku Mutukudzi and urban grooves icon, Stunner delighted onlookers with musical renditions.

There were a few fluffs though with the models showing that after all they are only human and prone to err.

At the end of the fashion and beauty extravaganza, Ntokozo Sithole from the University of Zimbabwe stole the limelight by outsmarting the 27 contestants to take away the first prize.

Blessing Ngowe from Bindura University emerged 1st runner up with University of Zimbabwe’s Nyaradzo  Nhongonhema coming third.
