juliusmalema.jpgANC youth league has planned to protest against the ANC executive council if Julius Malema’s appeal against a five-year suspension from the party fails next month.

Reports said the league will resist attempts to elect an acting president until the current term expires in 2014.

Government source close to Malema revealed that the youth league deputy president, Ronald Lamola, will run the league only as a deputy president and will make it known to all South Africans that he’s not the acting president or the president.

Malema was last week elected to ANC provincial structures in his home province of Limpopo and his appeal is expected to be heard after the ANC’s celebrations on 8 January next year.

The former ANC youth league president was suspend from the party last month for five years after being found guilty of bringing the ANC into disrepute and sowing division among the party’s ranks.
