Football fans will tomorrow be treated to some exciting action with the highlight being at the Giant National Sports Stadium (NSS) where Dynamos and Caps United lock horns in the Zimbabwe National Army Charity Shield semi final.
Many are calling it a platform to shake off pre-season rust, but given the long standing rivalry between Dynamos and Caps United the Giant NSS will tomorrow be a battle field where victory will be the prime target.
At the other hand, Highlanders and Chicken Inn face off at Barbourfields Stadium.
Charity will be the main objective as ZNA seeks to raise funds for its various charities, but given the intense rivalry that exists between Makepekepe and DeMbare one can only but expect an intriguing contest with both sets of fans hopeful ahead of tomorrow’s blockbuster encounter.
In Bulawayo, Chicken Inn and Highlanders will battle for a berth in the final with Bosso son Madinda Ndlovu hoping for a perfect return to the black and white striped outfit after taking over from Erol Akbay in the off season.
Another ZNA Charity Shield triumph will see the silverware remaining with Caps United following two consecutive triumphs in 2016 and 2017.
Whether Makepekepe can maintain their dominance and power to yet another ZNA crown, only time will tell.
