The Windies touchdown in the City of Kings tomorrow for two test matches set for Queens Sports Club.

When the ZBC News crew visited Queens Sports Club, final touches were being put to the venue for the matches with Bulawayo Metropolitan Cricket Association administrator Nicholas Nsingo expressing his delight at the sign of honour afforded the city to host the entire tour.

In an interview on the sidelines of a training session at Queens Sports Club, Chevrons head coach Heath Streak revealed that he was thrilled with his charges’ form and hopes they will use home advantage to record good results.

West Indies come to Zimbabwe on the backdrop of a successful series against England.

For Zimbabwe, an impressive performance in their last tour to Sri Lanka will be expected to spur them to success against the Windies.

The Chevrons will also be looking up to the experience of returnees Brendan Taylor and Kyle Jarvis as well as the tried and tested lot that includes the likes of Christopher Mpofu, Hamilton Masakadza and inform batsmen Sikanda Raza Butt.
