All is now set for the Twin Rivers Junior Chess championships slated for this Saturday at Twin Rivers Junior School in the capital.
Over 130 players have already confirmed their participation with the tournament also attracting players from Chivhu and Gokwe.
The teacher in charge of chess at Twin Rivers School Suzette Nyikadzino confirmed that all is now set for the hosting of the tournament.
The tournament will be used to churn out budding chess players which will represent the country at Africa and World championships.
Newly crowned woman candidate master Rumbidzai Mawire and Refiloe Mudodo will also take part in the event.
