A National Women’s Prayer Day will be held at the Glamis Arena this Saturday in the capital.
The event which has been organised by a group of church denominations will be graced by the First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa.
The national prayer day is expected to attract Zimbabweans from different church denominations.
One of the organisers of the event Pastor Abigail Magwenzi said the day has been organised to pray for peace in Zimbabwe as the country gears up for the harmonised elections.
Churches play a critical role in nation building and the coming together of the different church denominations shows commitment of the citizenry to preserve peace.
