All is set for the National Women’s Day Prayer organised by the Zimbabwe Christian Ministries Association (ZCMA) at the Glamis Arena in Harare.
A huge crowd of congregants from various denominations will gather tomorrow for the National Women’s Day Prayer where the First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa is expected to join the worshippers to pray for the nation on upcoming general elections and economic development.
ZCMA president Bishop Christopher Choto said the prayer seeks to intercede for the country and all are welcome.
“It will be a special day for women to meet as they come from different denominations to pray for peace,” he said.
Some church leaders who will be part of the gathering also noted that women should given a platform to pray for whatever they want.
Zimbabwe enjoys freedom of worship and going into the election, the call has been for citizens to observe non violence and exercise tolerance.
