20 beauties are set to walk down the ramp at the Miss Albinism Zimbabwe 2018 final ceremony to be held in Harare this Friday.

Through the pageant, Miss Albinism Trust aims at raising awareness on zero tolerance to stigmatisation and discrimination towards people with albinism as well as instilling confidence among people with albinism.

“The the event will draw contestants from all the country’s provinces and is meant to raise awareness to the society towards their attitude to people with albinism as well as instill confidence among people living with albinism,” said Jennipher Madiriza, a representative of the Miss Albinism Trust.

Zimbabwe is one of the few countries to host such events and it will go a long way in terms of giving confidence to people with albinism.

The beauty pageant will showcase the talents of young Zimbabwean ladies living with albinism and will see the performance of artists who include Boom Beto, Jah Signal and Tsote.
