95 percent of the exhibition space at the Midlands Show Society has already been snapped up by exhibitors casting positivity on this year’s premier trade showcase.
All is set for the Midlands premier trade showcase which starts this Thursday with a business day.
Midlands Show Society chairperson Augustine Mupakurirwa said more than 170 companies are expected to exhibit at the show, 18 of them first timers which promises the 2018 edition as a show of its kind.
Although Mupakurirwa said he was not sure whether farmers would get the green light to bring their cattle for exhibition because of the foot and mouth disease in some parts of the province, he insisted they have lined up a lot of exciting activities including Miss Gweru Show and the high flying musician Jah Prayzah.
The show will run under the theme, “Steering the Economy to Vibrancy” and Minister of Lands, Agriculture and Rural Resettlement Retired Air Chief Perrence Shiri is expected to officially open the trade show case on Saturday.
