All is now set for the First Lady, Dr Grace Mugabe and indigenous churches interface rally slated for Rufaro Stadium in Harare tomorrow.
Members of the organising committee were at the venue this Saturday morning assessing preparations, which are at an advanced stage with almost all logistics now in place.
The entertainment stage has been set up, chairs for those who will seat in the areas reserved for overflow were being arranged, tents have been erected, engineers and technicians from the ZBC were also setting up the OB equipment, while workers from the Harare City Council were sprucing up the environs around the stadium.
Zanu PF Harare Provincial Chairman, Cde Charles Tawengwa, who is also a Politburo member expressed satisfaction with the groundwork, saying the province is ready to host Dr Mugabe.
Zanu PF Harare Province Political Commissar, Cde Shadreck Mashayamombe implored members of the indigenous churches not to miss the opportunity they have been granted to interact with the First Lady.
Indigenous churches fall under the portfolio of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture, which is led by Minister Makhosini Hlongwane and he was also at Rufaro Stadium making sure that all logistics are in place.
Madzibaba Benjamin of the Johanne Masowe Echishanu spoke on behalf of the apostolic sects and he appealed to fellow apostolic followers to come in their numbers.
100 buses have been availed to ferry people to the stadium where various gospel musicians have been lined up to entertain the crowds.
