Four countries will battle it out at this year’s edition of the Old Mutual Heath Streak Africa Cricket Cup set for the Heath Streak Cricket Academy Grounds in Bulawayo from Saturday the 12th to the 15th of August.

The Under 14 T-20 franchise tournament enters its second edition following the inaugural 2015 event that saw Team Fazak Zimbabwe being crowned champions after getting the better of South Africa.

Other participating franchises include Ecobank Namibia, Choppies Botswana and Pepsi Zambia in a tournament expected to grow to be a regional junior cricket extravaganza according to Heath Streak, the president of the Heath Streak Cricket Academy.

The Chief Executive Officer of the academy Joseph Rego revealed that plans were afloat to have upcoming editions taking the IPL format.

Owners of the team Zimbabwe franchise, Fazak Africa’s managing director Zak Hawa expressed his organisation’s desire to support sport for the success of budding athletes.
