The Harare Agricultural Show is running out of space with less than 4 months before the start of the show, due to the overwhelming response by perennial and prospective exhibitors.
Figures released by indicate that 700 stands have been booked while an additional 312 new applications have been made so far, raising fears that the show, will be fully booked well before the start of the 2011 edition of the exhibition.
Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Mrs Sibonginkosi Muteyiwa confirmed the development and said the resurgence of the manufacturing sector has seen more applications coming for the show which runs from the 19th to the 27th of August.
Meanwhile, ZAS is in the process of renovating the exhibition halls and construction of additional halls so as to cater for the growing numbers of participants.
Last year, 700 exhibitors participated at the Harare Agricultural Show, which is an annual platform for industry to showcase its products and services while giving an opportunity to local industries to interact with potential investors.
