court.jpgTwo Africom bosses, Simba Mangwende and Farai Rwodzi and another Harare businessman, Oliver Chiku, who were facing charges of espionage and contravening some sections of the Post and Telecommunications Regulations, have been acquitted.

Harare magistrate, Mr. Kudakwashe Jarabini said there is no evidence that the three accused persons committed the offence.

The three Simba Mangwende, who is the Acting Chief Executive Officer, Farai Rwodzi, a non-executive director for Africom together with Mr. Oliver Chiku were alleged to have installed equipment on Africom systems without the approval of the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ).
