Apostolic Faith Mission church (AFM) in Bulawayo have joined the bandwagon of diplomatic communities, churches and corporate world by donating an assortment of goods to assist the victims of Cyclone Idai.

As the government moves towards mitigating the effects of Cyclone Idai, churches such as AFM have taken heed to the clarion call of helping one another in times of need by providing groceries, clothes and blankets to victims of the natural disaster.

Speaking to ZBC News while loading the truck destined to affected areas, AFM in Zimbabwe General Secretary Reverend Nathan Nhira said it was important for people to put their hands together in assisting the victims of Cyclone Idai.

 “We are making donations to the victims of Cylone Idai after noticing that our brothers and sisters are in dire need of assistance. These donations came from our members of Matabeleland North as far as Victoria Falls,” said Reverand Nhira.

Diplomatic communities in Zimbabwe have continued to donate and assist the government in mitigating the effects of Cyclone Idai.
