The Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Gender and Community Development says the rapid results initiative is central in achieving set targets.

The Deputy Minister of Women’s Affairs, Gender and Community Development Cde Abigail Damasane who was addressing ministry officials and key partners at a strategic review meeting held at Jamaica Inn Training Centre just outside Harare underscored the need to ensure officials in the ministry adhere to the dictates of the rapid results approach.

Spearheaded by the Office of the President and Cabinet, the rapid results approach seeks to ensure key reforms are instituted aimed at ensuring the country’s institutions embrace the ease of doing business reforms.

The major key result area of the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Gender and Community Development is mobilisation of women and communities, economic empowerment of women and communities and gender mainstreaming.
