Team Zimbabwe for the 10th All Africa Games in Maputo is winding up preparations at Belvedere Teachersâ€™ College ahead of departure for Mozambique this week.
The camp at Belvedere Teachersâ€™ College is meant to galvanise the team spirit and camaraderie before they leave for Mozambique this week.
Most of the team members were out at training venues putting final touches to the preparations.
The table tennis team was training in one of the common rooms familiarising themselves in their new kit.
The Karate team was in the gym also putting final touches to their training which did not have any contact at all as they did not want to risk any injuries a day before their departure.
Zimbabwe Karate president, Simba Chikutu says the team is working on individual weaknesses.
National team coach, Paul Danisa says expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to camp, adding that the team is now ready and waiting for competition to start on the 3rd of September.
The Mighty Warriors were returning from their last session of the day at the Barclays Sports Club and looked exhausted.
Other sports such as athletics are training at the Zimbabwe National Sports Stadium and judo at Rolf Valley Gym.
Zimbabwe is taking part in 17 different sporting disciplines among them boxing, chess, netball, sailing, swimming, taekwondo, tennis and triathlon.
