Highlanders legend and former Warriors gaffer Madinda Khathazile Ndlovu has bounced back as the technical manager for the Bulawayo giants.

A man credited with laying the foundation for many successful years at the Bulawayo giants will be in-charge of the entire Highlanders technical set up that will also see former Bulawayo City head coach, Mandla Lulu Mpofu being his assistant in the senior team.

Melusi Sibanda takes the second assistant coach’s slot as well as being the developmental side’s head coach with the goalkeepers’ coach still to be finalised while Vezigama Dlodlo retains his position as senior team’s welfare manager.

Other members of the technical team will see Daniel Ngwenya being in-charge of the U14s while Siza Khoza will be entrusted with the U16s with Gift Lunga Jnr heading the U18s.

The medical department remains unchanged.

In announcing the new technical structure, Highlanders chief executive officer Nhlanhla Dube confirmed that the technical team had already kick started its work with finalisation of the players list currently taking place.

Madinda boasts of three championships in a row as head coach from Botswana, twice with Mochudi Centre Chiefs and once with Township Rollers.

Before joining Amahlolanyama, Madinda was in-charge of Orapa in Botswana, a side he led to a top 8 finish.

Bosso fans will be expectant to see a number of the club’s juniors being showcased, if Madinda maintains the approach of giving youngsters a run.
