NRZ optimistic to meet its 100 day target

Former president of the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency Dr Rupiah Banda is in the country. The Zambian leader visited PHD leader Prophet Walter Magaya for possible investment ventures. No much change in water levels: ZINWA

The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) says there has not been much change in the water levels in major dams countrywide despite the rains being received. The authority’s acting corporate communications and marketing manager Mr Tsungirirai Shoriwa said the national dam level average stood at 68.5 percent as at 2 January 2018 making a 0.09 percent drop from 29 December 2017 and the average was at 45.8 percent during the same period last year. ZIMRA applauded for record breaking performance

Business leaders have welcomed the stability and strong annual gross performance posted by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) for 2017 which rose by 17 percent to $3.9 billion. In reality, all things being equal, revenue collection is a function of the gross domestic product.  The revenue collector surpassed the target of $3.4 billion to close at $3.75 billion exceeding the target by $350 million. ZSE ends week in green

The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended the week with marginal gains on the back of renewed investor perception in several listed counters. The all share index ended the first week of the new year with a 0.07 percent gain to 97.59 points. The industrial index also rose by 0.08 percent to close at 325.23 points, while the mining index was unchanged at 142.40 points.
