mabvuku area.jpgAt least five people have since been killed and 160 others infected with typhoid in Mabvuku.

This has prompted the Harare City Council to order public food handlers to undergo medical tests.
City Director of Health Services Dr Stanley Mungofa, said in terms of the Health Act, all food handlers should undergo medical tests after a certain period.
Dr Mungofa said the disease might have come from a neighboring country which can not be named since consultations are still going on.
He said although water supplies had improved since February this year, there was a need for more boreholes in Mabvuku to assist when taps are dry.
